The Georgia basketball SEC opponents for the 2026-27 season have officially been set, the league announced Thursday.
For the third consecutive season, SEC teams will play the 15 other teams once each during league play. Three teams will also be played a second time, two which are permanent opponents — Florida and South Carolina — and one that will change each year.
The Oklahoma Sooners will be Georgia’s rotating opponent this season, joining Florida and South Carolina as home-and-home’s.
Other SEC opponents heading to Stegeman Coliseum next season include Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Texas, and Vanderbilt.
In addition to visiting Florida, South Carolina, and Oklahoma, Georgia will travel to face Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
SEC action will tip off on Saturday, January 2, 2027 and runs through Saturday, March 6, 2027.
Georgia’s 2026-27 non-conference schedule has not been officially announced yet, but several opponents are known. The Bulldogs are slated to open the season at home at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., on Monday, Nov. 2 against North Carolina Central.
Georgia was also announced as a host in the 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge, welcoming Boston College to Stegeman Coliseum on Tuesday, December 1.
Earlier this month, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported that Georgia will face Duke in the 2026 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Rothstein also noted that the Bulldogs will be one of four teams in the 2026 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Fla., joining Boston College, Cincinnati, and UCF.
Georgia’s non‑conference slate this fall also includes a road trip to North Carolina on Friday, November 13, as well as a visit to Georgia Tech on a date to be announced.
Additionally, the Bulldogs will host Florida Gulf Coast on Monday, November 9, West Georgia on Wednesday, December 16, and North Florida on Tuesday, December 29.
