The SEC portion of Georgia’s 2026-27 basketball schedule has been officially announced by the conference. The season will be the fifth under head coach Mike White.
Georgia’s schedule includes five Saturday home contests. Midweek games will be played on either a Tuesday or Wednesday, with the exact dates to be announced later.
The Bulldogs open up SEC play on Saturday, January 2 on the road against Ole Miss. Other conference road games for Georgia include Auburn (Jan. 9), Arkansas (Jan. 19/20), Tennessee (Feb. 2/3), South Carolina (Feb. 6), Texas A&M (Feb. 13), Florida (Feb. 20), Oklahoma (Feb. 23/24), and Alabama (March 2/3).
Georgia opens its home slate on Jan. 5/6 against Texas inside Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga. Other home SEC games for the Bulldogs include Oklahoma (Jan. 12/13), Mississippi State (Jan. 16), Florida (Jan. 23), LSU (Jan. 30), Vanderbilt (Feb. 9/10), Kentucky (Feb. 16/17), Missouri (Feb. 27), and South Carolina (March 6).
Georgia’s non-conference basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season has not yet been officially announced, but most of the schedule has been reported. The Bulldogs are slated to open the season at home at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., on Monday, Nov. 2 against North Carolina Central.
Additionally, the Bulldogs will host Florida Gulf Coast on Monday, November 9, Alabama A&M on Sunday, December 13, West Georgia on Wednesday, December 16, Gardner-Webb on Sunday, December 20, and North Florida on Tuesday, December 29.
Georgia’s non‑conference slate this fall also includes a road trip to North Carolina on Friday, November 13, as well as a visit to Georgia Tech on a date to be announced.
Georgia was also announced as a host in the 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge, welcoming Boston College to Stegeman Coliseum on Tuesday, December 1.
Last month, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported that Georgia will face Duke in the 2026 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Rothstein also noted that the Bulldogs will be one of four teams in the 2026 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Fla., joining Boston College, Cincinnati, and UCF.
