Justin Wise, a 2027 shooting guard out of North Oconee High School in Bogart, Ga., has committed to Georgia basketball, according to a report from Rivals.
At 6-foot-4, 175 pounds, Wise is listed as a four-star prospect across major recruiting services, ranking as the No. 12 shooting guard nationally and the No. 55 overall recruit according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.
“I decided to commit to Georgia because it is like a home to me and I’m very familiar with the area and the coaching staff,” Wise told Joe Tipton of On3. “I also grew up watching some UGA games so it feels like a dream come true. I trust in Coach White and the rest of the staff from a basketball side and also a family side as well. They are great coaches and led UGA to the tournament the last two years and I think there more coming from Coach White and the staff.”
Justin Wise is the first prep commitment for head coach Mike White and Georgia for the class of 2027. He committed to the Bulldogs over Clemson, Miami, Tennessee, Texas, and Vanderbilt.
With just one commitment, Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class is now ranked 14th overall in the Rivals 2027 Industry Team Rankings.
