Georgia to host Boston College in 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge
The Georgia Bulldogs will face the Boston College Eagles as part of the 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge, it was officially announced Friday.
Georgia will host Boston College at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., on Tuesday, December 1, 2026. The Bulldogs are 3-0 in the Challenge games, winning 68-66 on the road at Florida State in 2023, 69-48 at home against Notre Dame in 2024, and 107-73 at Florida State last season.
The Bulldogs and Eagles have only met once on the hardcourt. Boston College defeated Georgia, 89-83, on Dec. 26, 1968, in the first round of the Gator Bowl Classic in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Georgia-BC tilt is one of 11 men’s contests set between the two conferences for that date. The remaining five will tip off the following day.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Georgia will host Florida Gulf Coast in Athens on Monday, November 9.
Last week, it was reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports that Georgia will face Duke in the 2026 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Rothstein also reported that Georgia will be one of four teams to play in the 2026 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Fla. Other teams in the field include Boston College, Cincinnati, and UCF.
In other non-conference action this fall, Georgia is scheduled to visit the North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday, November 13 and will also travel to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on a date to be announced.
Additionally, the Bulldogs will host the West Georgia Wolves on Wednesday, December 16 and the North Florida Ospreys on Tuesday, December 29.
