Georgia basketball adds JUCO transfer Kemauri Millender
Georgia basketball has added a JUCO transfer to its roster on Thursday, landing a commitment from Kemauri Millender out of Houston, Texas.
UGASports.com confirmed Millender’s commitment, following up on the initial report from The Athletic.
Kemauri “Kemo” Millender, who currently plays for New Mexico Junior College, is the younger brother of current Bulldog Smurf Millender. At NMJC, Kemo was named a Top 100 JUCO player and First-Team All-Conference in the NJACC.
Last season as a sophomore, Kemauri Millender played in 34 games, averaging 9.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
Kemauri Millender is the first player to commit to Mike White and the Bulldogs this spring. He joins Kareem Stagg and his brother, Smurf Millender, who have both resigned with UGA for the 2026-27 season.
To date, the Bulldogs have lost four players to the transfer portal — Dylan James, Jeremiah Wilkinson, Somto Cyril, and Jackson McVey. Additionally, Justin Bailey and Justin Abson have expired their eligibility.
