Georgia will host Morehead State on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025 at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., and the Bulldogs will pay the Eagles a $90,000 guarantee for the game, according to a copy of the contract we obtained from the Morehead State University via a state public records request.
The 2025 Georgia-Morehead State game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the hardcourt.
Morehead State is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) in Division I. The Eagles finished the 2024-25 season 15-17 overall and 10-10 in conference play.
In other home non-conference action this fall, Georgia will host the West Georgia Wolves on Dec. 22 and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on a date to be announced. Additionally, the Bulldogs will play in the 2025 Charleston Classic along with Clemson, West Virginia, and Xavier.
The 2025-26 season will be the fourth for Georgia under head coach Mike White. The Bulldogs finished the 2024-25 season 20-13 overall (8-10 SEC) and played in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015.
