3-Star OL Aaron Dowdell commits to UGA for 2016
Friday the 13th continues to be a good day for UGA despite the loss of wide receivers coach Tony Ball to LSU.
Earlier today, Georgia picked up a big addition to their 2015 class when 4-star linebacker Roquan Smith of Montezuma, Georgia signed scholarship papers to UGA.
This afternoon, Rusty Mansell of 247Sports broke the news that 3-star offensive lineman Aaron Dowdell of Atlanta, Georgia (Creekside High School) has committed to UGA for the class of 2016.
Dowdell (6-4.5, 290) committed to the Bulldogs over interest from Clemson and others.
In the 247Sports Composite rankings, Dowdell is listed as a 3-star recruit, the No. 19 offensive guard, and the No. 398 overall recruit.
Aaron Dowdell is the fifth commitment for Georgia for the class of 2016. He joins 5-star quarterback Jacob Eason, 5-star offensive tackle Ben Cleveland, 4-star defensive end Chauncey Manac, and 4-star running back B.J. Emmons.
