Seven straight as Georgia beats Georgia Tech 31-17

Georgia Bulldogs

Mark Richt knows how to beat one of Georgia’s biggest rivals. After the Dawgs’ 31-17 victory in Atlanta, Mark Richt is now 7-0 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Bulldogs (10-2, 6-2) won’t get to play for the SEC Championship, but should play in a BCS Bowl.

Senior tailback Thomas Brown rushed 17 times for 139 yards and a touchdown and sophomore quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 14 of 29 passes for 214 yards and 1 touchdown.

Sean Bailey led the Bulldog receivers with 3 receptions for 85 yards. Mohamed Massaquoi caught 6 passes for 74 yards and one touchdown.
