Four-star linebacker Rian Davis commits to UGA for 2019

It’s a hat trick! The Georgia Bulldogs have received their third commitment today, this one from four-star linebacker Rian Davis of Apopka, Florida (Wekiva High School).

Davis (6-1.5, 240) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over most of the top schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Louisville, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, and Tennessee.
In the 247Sports Composite, Rian Davis is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 outside linebacker, and the No. 68 overall recruit for the 2019 class. Rivals.com also rates Davis four-stars, the No. 4 inside linebacker, and the No. 100 overall recruit.
Earlier on Sunday, UGA picked up commitments from five-star running back John Emery Jr. and four-star athlete Makiya Tongue.
With today’s commitments, Georgia’s 2019 class has moved up to 2nd in the nation behind only Alabama, per 247Sports.
