Georgia climbs in college football rankings after Tennessee State win

The Georgia Bulldogs climbed in the Week 2 college football rankings after dismantling Tennessee State 63–3 on Saturday.

Georgia moved up one spot to No. 2 in the AP Poll, earning 1,532 points — a 19‑point increase from last week. The updated AP Top 5 now stands as: (1) Ohio State, (2) Georgia, (3) Notre Dame, (4) Texas, and (5) Indiana.

The Bulldogs also rose to No. 2 in the Coaches Poll, sitting just behind Ohio State. The top five mirrors the AP Poll, with one exception: Texas and Notre Dame swap positions in the Coaches rankings.
