Five-star RB John Emery Jr. commits to Georgia for 2019
Just four days after picking up a commitment from five-star defensive tackle Travon Walker, the Georgia Bulldogs have landed another blue-chip recruit.
Today, five-star running back John Emery Jr. of Destrehan, Louisiana committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Emery announced his commitment via his Twitter account.

Emery Jr. (5-11, 206) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over offers from most of the top schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and USC.
In the 247Sports Composite, John Emery Jr. is rated as a five-star recruit, the No. 2 running back, and the No. 31 overall recruit for the 2019 class.
Rivals.com rates Emery four-stars, the No. 5 running back, and the No. 80 overall recruit in the country for 2019.
The addition of Travon Walker boosted Georgia’s 2019 class of commitments to 4th in the nation, and now Emery moves the Dawgs up to 3rd, per 247Sports.
