Four-star athlete Makiya Tongue commits to Georgia for 2019
Just two hours after five-star running back John Emery Jr. of Destrehan, Louisiana committed to Georgia, the Bulldogs picked up another commitment out of the Bayou state.
Four-star outside linebacker/wide receiver Makiya Tongue of Baton Rouge, Louisiana (University Lab) committed to the G. He also made his announcement via Twitter.

Tongue (6-2, 210) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over a slew of offers, including Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Michigan, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and others.
In the 247Sports Composite, Makiya Tongue is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 15 athlete, and the No. 211 overall recruit for the 2019 class. Rivals.com rates Makiya Tongue four-stars, and the No. 21 athlete.
With two commitments today, the Bulldogs’ 2019 class of 15 commitments has moved up to 3rd in the 247Sports rankings, trailing only No. 1 Alabama (20 commits) and No. 2 Texas A&M (23 commits).
