Georgia reveals 2026-27 non-conference basketball schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs have revealed their non-conference basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season, a slate highlighted by games against North Carolina, Cincinnati, UCF, Boston College, and Georgia Tech.

Georgia will open the 2026-27 season at home at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., on Monday, November 2 against North Carolina Central. Four days later on Friday, Nov. 6, the Bulldogs will host Presbyterian.

Next, Florida Gulf Coast will visit Stegeman Coliseum on Monday, Nov. 9, four days before the Bulldogs travel to face North Carolina on Friday, Nov. 13. Georgia then returns home to host Jacksonville on Monday, Nov. 16 before traveling to Atlanta to take on in-state rival Georgia Tech on Friday, Nov. 20.

Bulldogs will be one of four teams in the 2026 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Fla., joining Boston College, Cincinnati, and UCF.

The Bulldogs will then depart Athens to play in the 2026 ESPN Events Challenge in Orlando, Fla., where they will take on Cincinnati and UCF. Georgia will play those two teams on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27, with the exact order to be determined.

Next, Georgia returns home to take on Boston College in a 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge matchup on Tuesday, December 1. One week later on Tuesday, Dec. 8, Georgia travels to New York to face Duke in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.

Georgia’s final four non-conference games of the 2026-27 season are all at home at Stegeman Coliseum — Alabama A&M (Dec. 13), West Georgia (Dec. 16), Gardner-Webb (Dec. 20), and North Florida (Dec. 29).

The SEC portion of Georgia’s 2026-27 basketball schedule was officially announced by the conference last month. The Bulldogs open up SEC play on Saturday, January 2 on the road against Ole Miss. Other conference road games for Georgia include Auburn (Jan. 9), Arkansas (Jan. 19/20), Tennessee (Feb. 2/3), South Carolina (Feb. 6), Texas A&M (Feb. 13), Florida (Feb. 20), Oklahoma (Feb. 23/24), and Alabama (March 2/3).

Georgia opens its home slate on Jan. 5/6 against Texas inside Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga. Other home SEC games for the Bulldogs include Oklahoma (Jan. 12/13), Mississippi State (Jan. 16), Florida (Jan. 23), LSU (Jan. 30), Vanderbilt (Feb. 9/10), Kentucky (Feb. 16/17), Missouri (Feb. 27), and South Carolina (March 6).
