NCAA Tournament: Bracket, March Madness First Round schedule

The NCAA Tournament is here and the bracket is set. The Georgia Bulldogs are the No. 9 seed in the Midwest Region and will play the No. 8 Gonzaga Bulldogs in the First Round of March Madness.

Georgia and Gonzaga will face off on Thursday, March 20 at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. The game will be televised by TBS at 4:35pm ET and it will also be streamed live via NCAA.com.

Should Georgia defeat Gonzaga, it would advance to the Round of 32 to face the winner of the (1) Houston vs. (16) SIU Edwardsville contest. The game would be played on Saturday, March 22 in Wichita.

“(It’s a) great accomplishment for our program and this team,” head coach Mike White. “Georgia is dancing. We’ve got more basketball ahead of us, so it’s a great day. A great day for the SEC of course, a historic day for our league. We’re fired up and ready to get to work.”

The Bulldogs finished the 2024-25 regular-season 20-11 overall and 8-10 in the SEC.
