Georgia didn’t play their best, but played well enough to win their final game of the 2010 Old Spice Classic. The Dawgs beat the Manhattan Jaspers 61-58 and finished the tournament 1-2.
Trey Thompkins led the Bulldogs with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Travis Leslie and Gerald Robinson, Jr. each added 13 points.
Notre Dame won the tournament after beating Wisconsin 58-51 in the championship game. Georgia lost to Notre Dame in the opening round 89-83 in double overtime. The Dawgs also lost to Temple, who was ranked 20th at the time.
The Hoop Dawgs are now 4-2 overall and will host the UAB Blazers at home on Friday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will be televised by FSN.
