Defensive back Blake Stewart commits to UGA on Early Signing Day
Early Signing Day for the 2026 recruiting class began this morning, and the Georgia Bulldogs added two commitments to their class in four-star offensive lineman Tyreek Jemison and three-star linebacker Terrence Penick.
Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs have picked up a third commitment today, this one from three-star defensive back Blake Stewart out of Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Ga. Stewart (6-0, 180) chose Georgia over offers from several top schools, including Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Indiana, Miami, Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.

Stewart has already signed his Letter of Intent, which officially makes him a Georgia Bulldog.

In the Rivals Industry Ranking, Blake Stewart is listed as a three-star recruit, the No. 37 safety and the No. 426 overall recruit for the class of 2026. Stewart is also rated as a three-star recruit in the 247Sports Composite.
With the addition of Blake Stewart, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 31 commitments for the class of 2026. UGA’s 2026 class is currently ranked fourth by On3 and sixth by 247Sports. 24 of Georgia’s commitments have already signed with the Bulldogs.
