Jarmaine Mitchell (6-8, 320) previously committed to Jeff Lebby and the Mississippi State Bulldogs in August, but changed his mind and pledged to the Bulldogs. He had offers from several other schools, including Colorado, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, and USF.
In the 247Sports Composite, Jarmaine Mitchell is rated as a three-star recruit, the No. 1 offensive tackle, and the No. 8 overall JUCO recruit in the country for 2026.
Mitchell joins offensive tackle commit Ekene Ogboko on Georgia’s roster next season. The Bulldogs also have commitments from Zykie Helton, Graham Houston, and Zachary Lewis, who each expect to play on the interior of the offensive line.
With the addition of Mitchell, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 30 commitments for the class of 2026. UGA’s 2026 class is currently ranked second in the On3 and 247Sports team rankings, just behind USC.
