The 6-foot-3, 200-pound redshirt sophomore hails from Conyers, Ga., and played at Heritage High School. Maddox began his college career with the Alabama State Hornets before transferring to play for the UAB Blazers.
In his only season with the Blazers, Maddox played in 11 games and recorded 44 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and one interception.
Maddox was not rated by 247Sports coming out of high school, but is now considered a three-star prospect as a transfer.
Adrian Maddox is the second defensive back to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs today following the announcement from Jaden Harris out of Miami. On Sunday, the Bulldogs added safety Zion Branch from the USC Trojans, along with his brother Zachariah Branch, a wide receiver.
Georgia is slated to open the 2025 season against the Marshall Thundering Herd at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 (Buy Tickets).
