Last season as a senior at Mount St. Mary’s, Leffew started in all 30 games and averaged 17.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. He was later named First Team All-MAAC.
Dakota Leffew is the third player to commit to Mike White and the Bulldogs out of the transfer portal this spring. The Bulldogs have also picked up Leffew’s teammate from Mount St. Mary’s, De’Shayne Montgomery, as well as Justin Abson from Appalachian State.
The Bulldogs still have five spots to fill for the 2024-25 season following the departures of Justin Hill, RJ Melendez, Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe, Mari Jordan, Jabri Abdur-Rahim, and Jalen DeLoach.
