Noah Thomasson, a 6-foot-3 guard from Houston, Texas, has committed to play for Mike White and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Thomasson announced his decision to play for the Bulldogs live on the Field of 68 on Wednesday.

Head coach Mike White and members of his staff shared their reactions on Twitter following Thomasson’s decision.

Thomasson is transferring to UGA from Niagra University in Lewiston, N.Y. Last season with the Purple Eagles, Thomasson led the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in scoring with 19.5 points per game. He also shot 38.6 percent from three-point range and averaged 3.5 assists per game.

Thomasson will join incoming transfers Jalen DeLoach from VCU, R.J. Melendez from Illinois, and Russel Tchewa from USF on Georgia’s 2023-24 roster. The Bulldogs have also signed Silas Demary, Jr., Dylan James, Mari Jordan, and Blue Cain.

Georgia’s four signees have them ranked 15th in the 247Sports team rankings for the 2023 class.
