Georgia Bulldogs ranked 5th in 2021 preseason AP Poll

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 5th in the 2021 preseason Top 25 AP Poll. UGA received three first-place votes and a total of 1,364 points.

UGA is also ranked 5th in the preseason Coaches Poll that was released on Tuesday, August 10.

Only one of Georgia’s opponents in 2021 is ranked in the preseason poll — the Florida Gators at No. 13.

The Alabama Crimson Tide top the preseason AP rankings. Other SEC teams ranked in the Top 25 include Texas A&M (6th) and LSU (16th).

The Big Ten, SEC, and Pac-12 lead all conferences with five teams each in the AP Top 25 poll. The ACC and Big 12 are next with three teams apiece, followed by the Sun Belt with two teams in the Top 25. Listed below is the full conference breakdown:
