The Georgia Bulldogs have picked up their third commitment for the 2019 class, this one from strongside defensive end Rashad Cheney.
Cheney (6-4, 256) currently plays for Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from LSU, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
“I decided Thursday that I would commit to Georgia,” Cheney told UGASports.com. “At first, my dad and I thought it would be good to wait, but then we decided to go ahead with it. I know Georgia is where I want to go and it feels great.”
Cheney joins four-star offensive lineman Luke Griffin and four-star defensive end Nolan Smith as early commitments for Kirby Smart and UGA for the 2019 class.
“Georgia has great coaches, they are a top school and it has been my dream to do this. It is kind of crazy because I have been dreaming of this time for years.
