Georgia BulldogsThe Diamond Dawgs are heading to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide in the final series of the 2012 regular season.

Georgia is currently 30-22 overall and 13-13 in the SEC. The Bulldogs need to take two-of-three from the Tide to finish above .500 in conference play and assure themselves of an NCAA Tournament berth.

If the Bulldogs can win the series, they would be only the third school to finish over .500 in the SEC for the second straight year. The other two schools are Florida and South Carolina.

Georgia and Alabama square off tonight at 7:35 p.m. ET, Friday at 7:35 p.m. ET and Saturday at 2:05 p.m. ET.

After the series against Alabama in Tuscaloosa, the Dawgs will make the short drive to Hoover for the 2012 SEC Baseball Tournament at Regions Park (May 22-27).

Matchups for the 10-team tournament will be announced late Saturday after the completion of all conference games.
