Georgia announces complete 2027 baseball schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs have announced their complete 2027 baseball schedule, which features a slate of 55 games.

Georgia opens the 2027 baseball season at home at Foley Field in Athens, Ga., with a four-game series against the defending America East Champion Bearcats from Binghamton, beginning on Friday, February 19.

The Bulldogs will then travel to Atlanta to play Georgia State on Tuesday, Feb. 23 before hosting Princeton for a four-game series beginning Friday, Feb. 26.

Other non-conference opponents on the 2027 slate include Kennesaw State, Western Carolina, Elon, Fresno State, West Georgia, The Citadel, USC Upstate, Presbyterian, and Georgia Tech.

Georgia and in-state rival Georgia Tech will play only once during the 2026 regular-season. The two schools will meet at Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves, in the 24th annual Spring Baseball Classic on Tuesday, April 27.

The Diamond Dawgs’ SEC slate in 2027, which was previously announced, begins on Friday, March 19 on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats. Other road SEC foes include Oklahoma (April 2-4), Tennessee (April 23-25), LSU (April 30-May 2), and Florida (May 14-16).

Home SEC opponents for the Diamond Dawgs in 2027 include Mississippi State (March 25-27), Auburn (April 9-11), Vanderbilt (April 16-18), Alabama (May 7-9), and Texas (May 20-22).

The 2027 schedule is subject to change for television, including the move of some conference series to begin on Thursdays.

The 2027 SEC Baseball Tournament begins on Tuesday, May 25 and wraps up on Sunday, May 30. The tournament will be played at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Ala., and will include all 16 teams in a single-elimination format.
