2011 Georgia Bulldogs Baseball Schedule Posted

The 2011 Georgia Bulldogs Baseball Schedule was released earlier this month and has been posted. The Diamond Dawgs will open the 2011 season on February 18 with a three-game series at Stetson.

The home-opener for the Diamond Dawgs will be Wednesday, February 23 against Furman. Georgia then hosts the Baylor Bears in a three-game series, travels to Furman for one game and then returns home to host the Florida State Seminoles for three games.

Other non-conference schools UGA will face at home include Charleston Southern, Clemson, Kennesaw State and Mercer.

Non-conference games on the road include Clemson, Furman, Mercer, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, UCLA, USC and Saint Mary’s (at Dodger Stadium). The Dawgs will also face Georgia Tech at Turner Field in the Spring Baseball Classic for Kids on April 26, 2011.

In addition, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide will meet in a non-SEC contest at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The stadium is home to the AAA Gwinnett Braves.
