Party in the UGA = FAIL!

I’m sure you’ve seen this by now. It’s the “Party in the UGA” video made for 2010 freshman orientation at the University of Georgia.

This is a massive pile of fail on so many levels. Not only is the video embarrassing in and of itself, Georgia was just named the number one party school in America by the Princeton Review. Sprinkle in Damon Evans’ DUI and the numerous player arrests in 2010 and what do you get? America laughing at the Bulldogs once again.

Sure, “Party in the UGA” works with the song “Party in the USA.” But it’s a Miley Cyrus song!

They had the right idea, but the whole production was lacking in singing talent and execution. A better song and even mediocre audio quality would suffice.

  • It's like you took the words out of my mouth. This is a great idea that was poorly executed. And with the Evans and Princeton stories, this is horrible timing for this particular song.

  • All that talent up there and that is the best you can come up with! I'm disappointed in the instructors for allowing it and I don't think Mark would have been in it if he knew it was going to be like that. It makes Bulldawg nation look like a bunch of idiots. You can't blame the students but the advisor is the one that needs to be held accountable and they need to transfer to Florida or ALABAMA!
