Defensive end Jalen Fields of Dalton, Georgia (Dalton High School) has verbally committed to Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs. Fields is the first commitment for the Dawgs for 2010.
Fields (6-5, 250, 4.65) committed to UGA over offers from several top schools including Alabama, Florida State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and West Virginia. As a junior, he had 68 tackles and 10 sacks.
