Antwan McKoy, a three-star defensive lineman, has committed to Georgia football for the class of 2027.

McKoy, who plays for St. Pauls High School in St. Pauls, N.C., chose the Bulldogs over South Carolina, Miami, and NC State, among others.

McKoy, a 6-foot-3, 295-pound defensive lineman, earns three stars across the recruiting services. Rivals lists McKoy as the No. 50 defensive lineman and No. 471 overall prospect among 2027 recruits in its rankings.

“(Defensive line) Coach (Tray) Scott is a great coach who puts defensive linemen out every year,” McKoy told Rivals. “He is a great teacher and I like how he coaches his defensive linemen.

“Coach Smart is a great coach too. He is a winner, he has Georgia competing for championships and I know he has the program playing at a high level.”

McKoy continued to rave about the atmosphere in Athens.

“The culture, the coaching and just seeing guys show up ready to work all stood out [at Georgia],” he said. “I loved the energy of the coaching staff and how the team plays together,” McKoy said.

Antwan McKoy is the 17th commitment for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2027 class and second today following the commitment of Marcellus Young Casario. Georgia’s class is currently ranked No. 12 in the Rivals 2027 Industry Team Rankings.
