Drew Bobo named to 2026 Rimington Trophy Watch List

Georgia football senior offensive lineman Drew Bobo has been named to the 2026 Rimington Trophy Watch List, the Rimington Trophy Committee has announced.

Bobo is one of 40 centers named to the Rimington list this season. Other SEC centers named to the list include Braelin Moore (LSU), Canon Boone (Mississippi State), Cole Best (Auburn), Coleton Price (Kentucky), Connor Robertson (Texas), Dominick Giudice (Missouri), Harrison Moore (Florida), Jake Maikkula (Oklahoma), Lyndon Cooper (Vanderbilt), and Mark Nabou Jr. (Texas A&M).

The Big Ten leads the Rimington Trophy Watch List with 13 nominations, followed by the SEC with 11 and the Big 12 and American with four each.

The Rimington Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding center in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The winner is chosen by determining the consensus All-American center from three existing All-America teams: Walter Camp Foundation (WCF), Sporting News (SN), and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).

Drew Bobo (6-5, 305) is the son of former Georgia quarterback and current Bulldog offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. Last season as a junior, Bobo played started in 11 games, helping the offense to 32.1 points per game, 182.1 rushing yards per game, and 220.3 passing yards per game.

The back-to-back SEC champion Georgia Bulldogs are scheduled to open the 2026 season on Saturday, September 5 against the Tennessee State Tigers at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will kickoff at 3:00pm ET and will be a streaming-only event on SEC Network+.
