Bulldogs and Gamecocks Face Off in Columbia

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs (2-0, 0-0) and South Carolina Gamecocks (1-1, 0-1) will face off today in an early Southeastern Conference matchup. The Bulldogs are coming off of a win over Central Michigan 56-17. The Gamecocks lost to Vanderbilt 24-17 on Thursday, September 4.

Georgia owns a large lead in the annual series with South Carolina. The Dawgs and Cocks have met a total of 60 times and Georgia leads 44-14-2. Last year in Athens, the Gamecocks upset the Bulldogs 16-12 and derailed any hopes that Georgia had of competing for the SEC Championship and a BCS Championship berth.
