Georgia football junior tight end Lawson Luckie has been named to the 2026 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, it was announced Tuesday.

The Wuerffel Trophy, named after former Florida quarterback Danny Wuerffel, is presented by the All Sports Association of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., to the college football player who “…best combines exemplary community service with leadership achievement on and off the field.”

Luckie is one of 113 players from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List for the 2026 season.

“It’s an honor to recognize these student-athletes for the difference they are making in the lives of others,” Danny Wuerffel said. “Their commitment to service demonstrates the powerful impact college athletes can have both on and off the field.”

The winner of the 2026 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy will be formally announced live on The Home Depot College Football Awards on Friday, Dec. 11 on ESPN, and the presentation of the award will occur February 2027 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.

Lawson Luckie is a 6-foot-4, 240-pound junior from Norcross, Ga. As a sophomore, he appeared in all 14 contests and started seven times. Luckie finished the season with 158 yards on 15 receptions with four touchdowns.
