Georgia will open its 2026 College World Series run against the Texas Longhorns Saturday night at 8:00pm, it was announced earlier Monday.
The sixth-seeded Longhorns advanced to the eight-team, double-elimination tournament following a two-game sweep of Oregon that was capped by a 6-5 result in Austin late Sunday night.
ESPN is slated to televise the game from TD Ameritrade Stadium. Saturday’s winner will play the winner of the early Saturday contest between Alabama and Oklahoma Monday at 7:00. The loser will face the loser of that contest Monday at 2:00pm ET.
