The Georgia Bulldogs have added the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles to their 2026-27 basketball schedule, according to a report from Alex Rosinski.

Georgia will host Florida Gulf Coast on Monday, November 9, 2026 at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., per the report. The Bulldogs will pay the Eagles a $95,000 guarantee for playing the game.

The 2026 Georgia-FGCU game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the hardcourt. Head coach Mike White has faced the Eagles three times previously, recording victories in each contest.

Florida Gulf Coast is a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference in Division I. The Eagles finished the 2025-26 season 16-18 overall and 8-10 in conference play.

Last week, it was reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports that Georgia will face Duke in the 2026 Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Rothstein also reported that Georgia will be one of four teams to play in the 2026 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Fla. Other teams in the field include Boston College, Cincinnati, and UCF.

In other non-conference action this fall, Georgia is scheduled to visit the North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday, November 13 and will also travel to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on a date to be announced.

Additionally, the Bulldogs will host the West Georgia Wolves on Wednesday, December 16 and the North Florida Ospreys on Tuesday, December 29.

The 2026-27 season will be the fifth for Georgia under head coach Mike White. The Bulldogs finished the 2025-26 season 22-10 overall (10-8 SEC) and played in the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season.
