NCAA Tournament: 2026 Bracket, First Round schedule

The NCAA Tournament is here and the bracket is set. The Georgia Bulldogs are the No. 8 seed in the Midwest Region and will play the No. 9 Saint Louis Billikens in the First Round of March Madness.

Georgia and Saint Louis face off on Thursday, March 19 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y. The game will be televised by CBS at approximately 9:45pm ET and it will also be streamed live via NCAA.com.

Should Georgia defeat Saint Louis, it would advance to the Round of 32 to face the winner of the (1) Michigan vs. (16) Howard matchup. The game would be played on Saturday, March 21 in Buffalo.

“We’re excited to still be playing,” said Georgia head coach Mike White on Sunday. “Excited to represent the University of Georgia in the NCAA Tournament. I love coaching this group. We’re playing a dangerous team, and we’re pretty dangerous ourselves. We had a great regular season and showed great fight the other day after a slow start in the SEC Tournament. We’re honored to have another chance to see where this thing takes us and thrilled for our guys to compete together again.”

The Bulldogs finished the 2025-26 regular-season 22-10 overall and 10-8 in the SEC.
