The Georgia Bulldogs will play the Ole Miss Rebels in the College Football Playoff at the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Georgia (12-1), the SEC Champion and No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff, enjoyed a bye the last two weekends. Meanwhile, the Ole Miss Rebels defeated the Tulane Green Wave on Saturday, 41-10, in a First Round matchup played on-campus in Oxford, Miss.

The Bulldogs will take on the Rebels in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The game will be played on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La., and it will be televised by ESPN at 8:00pm ET.

Georgia and Ole Miss squared off earlier this season at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The Bulldogs defeated the Rebels in that contest, 43-35, when Lane Kiffin was the head coach. With Kiffin taking over at LSU, Ole Miss is now led by Pete Golding, who was the defensive coordinator under Kiffin.

Winners from the Cotton Bowl (Miami vs. Ohio State) and Sugar Bowl will meet in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026.

This season’s College Football Playoff National Championship will be played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026.
