The Georgia football schedule for the 2026 season is set to be released next week, according to an announcement from ESPN and the SEC.
The complete 2026 SEC football schedule will be unveiled on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 8:00pm ET / 7:00pm CT on a special two-hour schedule release show on the SEC Network. Dari Nowkhah will host the reveal and will be joined in studio by college football analysts Gene Chizik, Cole Cubelic, and Roman Harper.
SEC teams will begin playing a nine-game conference schedule in 2026 with three non-conference opponents. One of those three non-conference opponents is still required to be from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 or Notre Dame.
Georgia’s SEC opponents for the 2026 through 2029 season were revealed by the league in September. In 2026, Georgia will host Auburn, Florida (in Atlanta), Missouri, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt and will travel to face Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and South Carolina.
The non-conference portion of Georgia’s 2026 football schedule is not yet finalized, however. The Bulldogs will open the season at home against the Tennessee State Tigers on Sept. 5, which we confirmed last month.
Also set is Georgia’s annual contest against Georgia Tech, which is currently scheduled to be played on Saturday, Nov. 28 at Sanford Stadium. Georgia is also scheduled to host Western Kentucky on Sept. 12 and visit Louisville on Sept. 19. One of those games will be rescheduled or canceled, however, since 13 games is one too many.
As of this week, there is no finalized cancellation or amendment for either the WKU or Louisville contract, so we will likely learn the answer next week. Below is Georgia’s tentative football schedule for next season as it stands now.
