Georgia moves up in AP, Coaches polls after win over Marshall

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the Marshall Thundering Herd 45-7 on Saturday, have moved up in the AP and Coaches polls for Week 2.
Georgia moved up one spot in the AP Poll to No. 4. The Bulldogs received 1,410 points in the AP Poll, which is 69 more votes than they received in the preseason poll. Georgia also held onto its lone first-place vote.
The Ohio State Buckeyes took over the top spot in the AP Poll. Rounding out the top five are (2) Penn State, (3) LSU, (4) Georgia, and (5) Miami FL.
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs also moved up a spot to No. 4. Georgia received 1,518 points, which is 52 points more than last week. However, the Bulldogs lost two first-place votes and now have just one.
