UGA football sophomore defensive lineman Jordan Hall has been named to the 2025 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, it was announced Thursday.

The Wuerffel Trophy, named after former Florida quarterback Danny Wuerffel, is presented by the All Sports Association of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., to the college football player who “…best combines exemplary community service with leadership achievement on and off the field.”

Hall is one of 116 players from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List for the 2025 season.

“Every year, I’m deeply moved by these student-athletes,” said Danny Wuerffel. “They lead with their heart. Each of our nominees is making a real difference in the lives of others, and their stories remind us what true greatness looks like.”

The winner of the 2025 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy will be formally announced live on The Home Depot College Football Awards on Friday, Dec. 12 on ESPN, and the presentation of the award will occur on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.

Jordan Hall, who hails from Jacksonville, Fla., appeared in six games last season as a reserve defensive lineman. He finished the season with four total tackles (one solo, three assisted).

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to open the 2025 season at home against the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday, Aug. 30. The game will be televised live by ESPN at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
