Georgia to visit Florida State in 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge

The Georgia Bulldogs will face the Florida State Seminoles as part of the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge, it was officially announced Thursday.

Georgia will travel to face Florida State at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee, Fla., on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025. The Bulldogs are 2-0 in the Challenge games, winning 68-66 on the road at Florida State in 2023 and at home against Notre Dame, 69-48, last season.

The Georgia-FSU tilt is one of nine men’s contests set between the two conferences for that date. The remaining seven will tip off the following day.

Below is the complete list of men’s ACC/SEC Challenge games for 2025:

Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that Georgia will open the 2025-26 season at home on Monday, Nov. 3 against the Bellarmine Knights.

In other home non-conference action this fall, Georgia will host the UMES Hawks on Nov. 5, Morehead State Eagles on Nov. 9, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Friday, Nov. 14, Western Carolina Catamounts on Dec. 18, and West Georgia Wolves on Dec. 22.

Additionally, the Bulldogs will play in the 2025 Charleston Classic along with Clemson, West Virginia, and Xavier. Georgia will play two games in that tournament, beginning Friday, Nov. 21 and concluding Sunday, Nov. 23.
