UGA football schedule: Kickoff time, TV set for five games in 2025

The kickoff time and television coverage has been set for five games on the 2025 UGA football schedule, according to a release from ESPN and the SEC Thursday.

The Georgia Bulldogs are scheduled to open the 2025 season on Saturday, Aug. 30 against the Marshall Thundering Herd at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will kickoff at 3:30pm ET and will be televised live by ESPN.

The following week on Saturday, Sept. 6, the Bulldogs welcome the Austin Peay Governors to Sanford Stadium. That game will be a streaming-only event on ESPN+ and SEC Network+ at 3:30pm ET.

Georgia opens SEC action on Saturday, Sept. 13 on the road against the Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. The game will kickoff at 3:30pm ET and will be televised by ABC.

The annual Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 1 will kickoff at its usual time of 3:30pm ET with coverage via ABC. The Bulldogs are the designated away team in Jacksonville this season.

Georgia’s Black Friday contest against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets has also been set (Friday, Nov. 28). The game will kickoff at 3:30pm ET on ABC live from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

The 2025 SEC Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6 and will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game is set for a 4:00pm ET kickoff on ABC.

Per the SEC, more game times will be unveiled in early June, which could include some games involving the Bulldogs. Georgia’s remaining kickoff times this season will be announced 6-12 days prior to the date of the games.
