Georgia football quarterback Carson Beck will enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per a report from On3Sports.

Beck previously announced that he would enter the 2025 NFL Draft five days after he underwent successful surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow on Monday, December 23.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that the Miami Hurricanes are the favorite to land Carson Beck, while Ohio State and Texas Tech are also possibilities. If Beck does transfer and doesn’t enter the NFL Draft, he could become one of the highest-paid transfers to date.

Beck started 13 games for the Bulldogs in 2024. He completed 290-of-448 passes (64.7%) for 3,485 yards with 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Overall, Beck threw for 7,912 yards with 58 touchdowns and 20 interceptions at Georgia.

Georgia appears ready to move forward with quarterback Gunner Stockton at the helm, with Ryan Puglisi competing to land the starting job also. Head coach Kirby Smart could also look to land a top quarterback of his own from the portal to shore up the position next fall.
