Georgia moves up in AP, Coaches polls after win over UMass
The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the UMass Minutemen 59-21 Saturday, have moved up in the AP and Coaches polls for Week 14.
Georgia (9-2, 6-2 SEC) moved up two spots in the AP Poll to No. 6. Oregon, undefeated at 11-0, again leads the AP Poll with all 61 first-place votes. Rounding out the top five are Ohio State (2), Texas (3), Penn State (4), and Notre Dame (5).
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs also moved up two spots from No. 8 to No. 6. The Coaches Poll Top 5 matches the AP Poll.
After the results on Saturday, it was determined that Georgia will play in the 2024 SEC Championship Game against either Texas or Texas A&M. Those two schools meet next Saturday in College Station, Texas.
