Georgia falls to 12th in latest College Football Playoff Rankings
The Georgia Bulldogs dropped to 12th in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings released Tuesday evening by the CFP Committee.
Georgia (7-2) dropped nine spots to No. 12 after falling on the road at then No. 16 Ole Miss, 28-10. Ole Miss vaulted five spots to No. 11 after its victory over the Bulldogs.
The Oregon Ducks (10-0) top the CFP rankings for the second consecutive week, followed again by the Ohio State Buckeyes (8-1) in second. The Texas Longhorns (third), Penn State Nittany Lions (fourth), and Indiana Hoosiers (fifth) round out the top five of the second set of CFP rankings.
Other teams in the second College Football Playoff Rankings that Georgia has played include No. 3 Texas (won 30-15), No. 10 Alabama (lost 41-34), and No. 20 Clemson (won 34-3).
Georgia is currently ranked No. 11 in the AP Poll and No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Check out the full College Football Playoff Rankings below:

The College Football Playoff Selection Committee will release their Top 25 rankings each week on Tuesday through December 3. On Sunday, Dec. 8 at Noon ET, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee will announce the 12-team playoff bracket. Below is the schedule of dates (all times Eastern):
- Tuesday, Nov. 19: 7-8pm
- Tuesday, Nov. 26: 8-9pm
- Tuesday, Dec. 3: 7-7:30pm
- Sunday, Dec. 8 (selection day): Noon-4pm
The Georgia Bulldogs are next scheduled to host the seventh-ranked Tennessee Volunteers (8-1) on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will be televised by ABC and streamed via ESPN+ at 7:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
