Georgia tumbles in AP, Coaches polls after loss at Ole Miss
The Georgia Bulldogs, who fell on the road against the Ole Miss Rebels 28-10 Saturday, have tumbled in the AP and Coaches polls for Week 12.
Georgia (7-2, 5-2 SEC) fell nine spots in the AP Poll to No. 11, one spot behind Ole Miss. Oregon, undefeated at 10-0, leads the AP Poll with all 62 first-place votes. Rounding out the top five are Ohio State (2), Texas (3), Penn State (4), and Indiana (5).
In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs dropped from second to tenth, but remained one spot ahead of Ole Miss for some reason. Oregon is also the top team in the Coaches Poll and is followed by Ohio State (2), Texas (3), Tennessee (4), and Penn State (5).

The Georgia Bulldogs are next scheduled to host the Tennessee Volunteers (7 CFP, 6 AP, 4 Coaches) on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will be televised by ABC and streamed via ESPN+ at 7:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).

How the #2 team can drop to #11 after losing to another ranked sec team is beyond me!

And can fans not tear down the field goals unless it’s like a VERY important win?? VANDY vs Bama makes sense, but ole miss v uga? What’s the point there? It wasn’t some unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime win. This is a trend that does NOT need to become normalized. Nor does storming the field every game. (At least it was their own field goal.) Then they couldn’t even get it out of the stadium! D’oh! Hahah Wonder where they were planning on taking it anyway…
