Jaylan Morgan, a four-star cornerback from Rockvale High School in Rockvale, Tenn., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.

Morgan announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Monday.

Morgan (6-0, 180) committed to the Bulldogs over Alabama, Purdue, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Florida.

“I wanted to be the best me possible,” Morgan told UGASports.com. “To be the best, you’ve got to be with the best. I feel like Coach Smart has a great vision for his program on where he wants to take it. They want to be the next dynasty. They already are, in my eyes. I wanted to be around great players that’ll make me better every day and bring another championship home with them.”

In the 247Sports Composite, Jaylan Morgan is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 23 safety, and the No. 269 overall recruit in the country for 2025.

Rivals.com also rates Jaylan Morgan as a four-star recruit, the No. 13 cornerback, and the No. 150 recruit in its 2025 Rivals150.

With the addition of Jaylan Morgan, Georgia now has 19 commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s class is currently ranked third in the 247Sports Team Rankings.

Earlier on Monday, the Bulldogs added another recruit for the 2024 class when massive offensive lineman Jahzare Jackson committed to UGA.
