UGA football schedule 2024: Kickoff windows set for remaining games

Last month, ESPN and the SEC announced kickoff times and TV networks for six UGA football games in 2024. On Tuesday, the kickoff windows were announced for Georgia’s remaining SEC-controlled games.

New this season under the ESPN-SEC contract are approximate kickoff windows, which are Early, Afternoon, Night, and/or Flex. Games selected for the early window will start from 12:00pm ET to 1:00pm ET, while the afternoon window games will kickoff between 3:30pm ET and 4:30pm ET.

Night games will have kickoff times anywhere from 6:00pm ET to 8:00pm ET. A few contests, however, were tagged as flex games and be either the afternoon or evening window.

The Georgia Bulldogs are scheduled to host the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 5. That game has been tagged as Flex, which means it will either kickoff in the afternoon (3:30-4:30pm) or night (6:00-8:00pm).

Four additional Georgia games have also been tagged as Flex games (afternoon or night): vs. Mississippi State on Oct. 12, at Texas on Oct. 19, at Ole Miss on Nov. 9, and vs. Tennessee on Nov. 16.

Additionally, Georgia’s home game against the UMass Minutemen on Nov. 23 has been set for a 12:45pm ET kickoff on the SEC Network.

Georgia will open the 2024 season against the Clemson Tigers in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday, Aug. 31. The game will be televised live by ABC at noon ET (Buy Tickets).
