The kickoff time and television network have been set for the Georgia Bulldogs-Clemson Tigers Aflac Kickoff Game in 2024, it was announced on Tuesday.
Georgia and Clemson will square off at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday, Aug. 31. The game will be televised live by ABC at noon ET (Buy Tickets).
Georgia and Clemson first met on the gridiron in 1897 and have played a total of 65 contests. In their most recent matchup in 2021, the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 10-3 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., to extend their advantage in the overall series to 43-18-4.
ESPN also announced kickoff times and television coverage for several football games involving SEC teams for Week 1 of the 2024 season. Below are the details:

Miami FL at Florida – 3:30pm, ABC

Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024
USC vs. LSU (Las Vegas) – 7:30pm, ABC
Per ESPN’s release, the first three weeks and all special date games of ESPN’s college football schedule will be unveiled on Thursday, May 30. Conference TV schedules for the first three weeks of the season will also be released that day.
Kickoff times for Georgia’s home-opener against Tennessee Tech on Sept. 7 and SEC-opener at Kentucky on Sept. 14 will be revealed on that date. Georgia will be off on Sept. 21 before visiting Alabama on Sept. 28 with television coverage via ABC at 7:30pm ET, which was previously announced.
