The 2024 SEC football schedule is set for release on Wednesday night, and ahead of that announcement the league and ESPN have announced the kickoff time for the Georgia Bulldogs at Alabama Crimson Tide contest.

Georgia is set to travel to face Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024. The SEC Championship rematch will kickoff at 7:30pm ET / 6:30pm CT and it will be nationally televised by ABC.

Last week, UGASports.com, a Rivals’ network site, revealed the complete UGA football schedule for the 2024 season, per their source.

UGA’s non-conference schedule was previously known and has not changed. The Bulldogs will open the 2024 season against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday, Aug. 31 in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

The following week on Sept. 7, Georgia will open its home slate at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. Georgia’s final two non-conference games are both slated for Athens and are the final two games of the regular-season: UMass on Nov. 23 and Georgia Tech on Nov. 30.

Per the report by UGASports.com, the Bulldogs are scheduled to open SEC action in 2024 on Saturday, Sept. 14 on the road in Lexington, Ky., against the Kentucky Wildcats. Georgia will then have a bye on Sept. 21 before traveling to Alabama on Sept. 28.

October begins with a pair of SEC opponents at Sanford Stadium. The Auburn Tigers will visit Athens on Oct. 5, followed by the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Oct. 12.

Next, Georgia heads west to take on the new-SEC member Texas Longhorns on Oct. 1 before its second and final bye of the season on Oct. 26.

The Bulldogs will be the home team in 2024 against the Florida Gators at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. That game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2 this season.

Following the trip to Jacksonville, Georgia will travel to Oxford, Miss., to take on the Ole Miss Rebels on Nov. 9. The Bulldogs then close out SEC play one week later at home against the Tennessee Volunteers on Nov. 16.

The 2024 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., and the contest will be televised by ABC.
