Georgia announces 2024 baseball schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs have announced their 2024 baseball schedule, which features games against Clemson, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

Georgia opens the 2024 baseball season at home at Foley Field in Athens, Ga., with a three-game series against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs beginning on Friday, Feb. 16. Other non-conference opponents on the 2024 slate include Clemson, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Michigan State, Northern Colorado, Northern Kentucky, Presbyterian, Stetson, and Wofford.

Georgia and in-state rival Georgia Tech will play a three-game series that is set for March 1 through March 3. The series will open at Russ Chandler Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., on Friday, March 1 before shifting to Foley Field on Saturday, March 2. The series will conclude at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Ga., on Sunday, March 3.

The Diamond Dawgs’ SEC slate in 2024, which was previously announced, begins on Friday, March 15 on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats. Other road SEC foes include Tennessee (March 29-31), Mississippi State (April 5-7), Texas A&M (April 26-28), and South Carolina (May 10-12).

SEC opponents visiting Foley Field in 2024 include Alabama (March 22-24), Missouri (April 12-14), Ole Miss (April 19-21), Vanderbilt (May 3-5), and Florida (May 16-18).

The 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21 through Sunday, May 26 in Hoover, Ala.
