Georgia remains first in AP, Coaches polls following Ole Miss win

The Georgia Bulldogs, who crushed the Ole Miss Rebels 52-17 on Saturday, have remained atop the AP and Coaches polls for Week 12.

Georgia (10-0, 7-0 SEC) received 1,540 points in the AP Poll, which is 18 less than they received last week. The Bulldogs did gain five additional first-place vote and are now up to 54. Michigan (10-0), Ohio State (10-0), Florida State (10-0), and Washington (10-0) round out the top five in the AP Poll.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,591 points, which is four more points than last week. Georgia garnered 58 first-place votes, up from the 55 it received in Week 11.

In the second College Football Playoff Rankings released last week, the Georgia Bulldogs were ranked second behind the Ohio State Buckeyes. The third set of CFP rankings will be revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

The Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, Nov. 18 against the 13th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).

The following week on Saturday, Nov 25, Georgia will wrap up the regular-season against the in-state rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. (Buy Tickets).

Georgia also clinched the SEC East on Saturday and will face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 2 (Buy Tickets). The game will be televised by CBS at 4:00pm ET.
